topic# 4

When I was in university, I was major in information management. My parents respected what I chose, but I knew they preferred language major. After studying two years for information management, I found that it was difficult for me and I was not good at writing program. I started to consider whether I changed my major or not.  Then I decided to change my major to English Literature. I chose it because I thought it was more simple than writing program. It was really easier for me to finish my Bachelor degree, but I had good friends and great time in information management major. I intend to finish master degree then get a job. The most ideal job to me is to work at foreign company. However, if I want to work for foreign company, I have to take business degree. It’s a dilemmatic situation.

topic#3 obstacle

So far, I haven’t met any big obstacles like Nick Vujicic, and I am so happy that I am a lucky girl. However, people must have some obstacles every stage in their life. Compare with Nick Vujicic; everything I faced was nothing. Now the obstacle I encounter is to focus on my TOEFL. I have lots of TOEFL practice at hand, but I cannot focus and finish it. Every time I do the practice, I am always distracted by smart phone. Or do the TOEFL and chat with my friends. I cannot stop the temptation. That’s terrible….

Topic #2 Spring break

I traveled to Seattle for four days during spring break; it is really different from California. On the first day, we went to Seattle downtown, Pike Market, and Space Needle tower. We also tried clam chowder; it was really tasty. On the following  days, we took tour ride, visited Safeco field,  flight museum, and chocolate factory, and watched night view. We visited lots of places, but the most impressive for me is Safeco field tour. When we took Safeco field tour, we could visit baseball field and dugout where baseball players took a rest. These places are not allowed people to visit; however, we not only visited it but also took a picture.

Seattle is a nice place to visit. It has beautiful scene, many museums and convenient transportation system. The most important is kind people. Every time when we asked someone to guide us, they were pleasant to tell us. We met a foreigner who can speak Taiwanese and had lived in Taiwan; his hometown is in Anahiem. It was surprising. However, it was kind of dangerous at night when walking in downtown because there were many black men and homeless. No matter what it did, I liked this trip.
