Topic #2 Spring break

I traveled to Seattle for four days during spring break; it is really different from California. On the first day, we went to Seattle downtown, Pike Market, and Space Needle tower. We also tried clam chowder; it was really tasty. On the following  days, we took tour ride, visited Safeco field,  flight museum, and chocolate factory, and watched night view. We visited lots of places, but the most impressive for me is Safeco field tour. When we took Safeco field tour, we could visit baseball field and dugout where baseball players took a rest. These places are not allowed people to visit; however, we not only visited it but also took a picture.

Seattle is a nice place to visit. It has beautiful scene, many museums and convenient transportation system. The most important is kind people. Every time when we asked someone to guide us, they were pleasant to tell us. We met a foreigner who can speak Taiwanese and had lived in Taiwan; his hometown is in Anahiem. It was surprising. However, it was kind of dangerous at night when walking in downtown because there were many black men and homeless. No matter what it did, I liked this trip.

  2. I think Seattle is one of the most beautiful cities in the USA. Anyway, remember you can write Anaheim like this "Anaheim " instead of "Anahiem".

    1. Just for your information, several hundred of years ago, many people settled in this are. "Ana" is Spanish and came from the Santa Ana River. "Heim" is German and means home. Hence, we got a new word = Anaheim.

  3. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip! That was quite remarkable that you met someone who could speak Taiwanese and lived in Taiwan!! Is he an American? Is he white? Hispanic? Black? etc... When we travel or just open ourselves up, we can meet new people learn from each other's life experiences.
